Thornberry Animal Sanctuary would like to say a HUGE thank you to Elise Pilkington Trust who recently donated £10,000 to the charity to help purchase a tractor for our farm. Thornberry has never had a tractor before and a lot of farm jobs have had to be done manually, in all weathers. These jobs can take a lot of time, energy and often cost. Having a tractor means we will be able to do farm jobs quickly, effeciently and without having to pay for external support. This also means our team will have even more time to focus on working with the animals and also spending any cost savings on continuing to improve animal welfare. Grants like these allow us to make a huge difference at the sanctuary and enable us to continue to provide the best equine rescue care in South Yorkshire.
