Tickhill Riding Club dedicate their Bank Holiday show to Thornberry

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary thanks Tickhill Riding Club and its many members for choosing T.A.S to support at their Bank Holiday Sunday show on August 25th. They put on a splendid tombola for us, with an excellent array of  prizes including two smart numnahs and a bottle of whisky!  

Competitors and horses were out enjoying themselves as they always do at Tickhill R.C. a friendly, well-run club with lots of classes held on good ground. Included amongst them were two horses adopted from T.A.S., Splash seen in the top picture and Ella with her rider Katie, both doing their best for their adoptive owners and T.A.S.

Our horses vary from companions to competitors,  who once fell on hard times but are now in safe and loving hands, both at Thornberry and in their new, carefully-chosen homes as these two are.

Tickhill Riding Club’s ground is at Carlton-in-Lindrick.
