We welcome you all to join us getting hands on by spending time with our team to see what goes on behind the scenes of a busy animal rescue and rehoming centre. From one off days with us through to working with us to complete particular project over a week, volunteering helps you to promote a healthy work / life balance while giving your employees a new sense of purpose as well as perspective. Your employees may find new confidence in both their team and themselves!

Every day is different at Thornberry and much of the work we can offer is dependent on what animals are currently in our care: there may be times due to the number of animals with behavioral issues that we need to limit the number of people working with them for their safety and wellbeing.

No experience working with animals is needed and we hope you’ll be enthusiastic and willing to get stuck in! Drinks are provided and our café is open onsite to pre book lunch (or you are welcome to bring lunch with you). Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting mucky and sturdy shoes.

Please note that Corporate Days run Tuesday – Friday, all year round. We ask for a suggested donation of £10 per person (payable by the company and not the individual) to help cover the cost of equipment and admin involved in organising and hosting the day. If your company is able to match fund then this is not applicable.

We also need help at our events throughout the year. so if this is of interest please let us know.
