Thornberry’s Billy Ellerby seen here receiving a huge cheque, in more than one sense of the word-  a massive £5000.00 in fact! –  from The Miners Arms in Dronfield, on behalf of Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.  

Thank you to the Miners Arms Charity Circle and Mark, the Landlord, for your  enormous act of charity in fundraising for Thornberry throughout the year. The picture shows Dave Berry presenting the cheque at the Miners Arms on Sunday 20th January. We hope Dave Berry sang a few tunes, but especially the praises of the patron, customers and supporters of The Miners Arms, as they well deserve.
